As an Australian-Filipina, I have had the privilege of living and travelling in seven different countries 🌍, including The Philippines 🇵🇭, Hong Kong 🇭🇰, Singapore 🇸🇬, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Thailand 🇹🇭, Cambodia 🇰🇭, and Australia 🇦🇺, since I was six years old. This has allowed me to learn and appreciate diverse stories that appeal to different cultures around the world. When I was 13 and attending primary school in Singapore, it was a tradition to pass notes 📝 between classmates. Being fond of notebooks 📓, particularly those with cute, funky designs, I began writing stories about my classmates. The book only reached Chapter One 📘, but it had multiple pages. These stories matched my classmates romantically 💖 and created potential love interests - while most of them disagreed with the pairings 👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏼, especially when I wrote a twist in my story and even partnered my crush with another girl and a friend yelled, "Nooooo!" because she believes I deserved a good ending *plays sad piano 🎹 music*. It was all fun and laughter for us girls. During break time, I would pass down these notes to my friends while the teacher wasn't looking or chatting away. Such good times! I wrote about things like crushes, school life, and food and would ask questions with a note of "YES" or "NO" if we were going to hang out for bubble tea🧋and Pepper Lunch, Burger King, KFC or just Asian-Singaporean-Thai-Malaysian food from the Food Court after school, damn I miss those creamy, KFC cheesy fries 🍟, Hershey's chocolate pie 🍰, mozzarella cheese sticks, Hainanese Crispy Chicken Rice, Rojak, Roti Prata with Curry, Ais Kacang, and Nasi Lemak 🤤 Attending concerts, festival events, music video awards (MTV Asia Awards), meet and greets at HMV and more.

I started my blogging journey during the MSN era, where I shared my good and bad days. Looking back, it's surprising how public I was 😱! Unfortunately, those posts are gone, and any screenshots I might have taken using Microsoft Paint are lost somewhere in our old, slow hard drives. Later, I switched to Blogspot or Blogger, where I began writing numerous blogs on a wide range of topics such as fashion 👗, beauty 💄, films 📼, music 👩‍🎤, art 🎨, interviews 🎤, and DIYs 🖌️. I covered reviews, recommendations, history, tips and tricks, life hacks, and more. This was during my YouTuber, Blogger, and Vlogger era. I even created my blog website from scratch by studying coding and HTML. Here's a fun fact: This website, Gizella Films, was made and designed by me 👩🏻‍💻 I stayed true to my writing passion and focused on scriptwriting. My love for cinematic storytelling inspired me to pursue a multi-career, eventually establishing my own film and media production company, 💎 Gizella Films (filmmaker, photographer, writer, and designer). Alongside my other businesses, ✨ GIZELLA (set design, props, decor, makeup, and costume), and 💗 Gizella's Life (art, lifestyle, and entertainment), these businesses has become the realization of my dream career.
